“Mohenjo Daro” one of the much awaited movie of the year is in cinemas now. The film was released on 12 August 2016. The film has mixed reviews from audience and below average rating from critics. The makers of the film had a lot of expectations from it but it has not met any of them. If we talk about its box office Collection it is not doing a god job. It has collected ₹ 8.87 crore on its release day but expectations were high. Also it was not able to beat “Rustom” starring Akshay Kumar which has earned ₹ 14.11 crore on day one.
On its second day Saturday the film has managed to earn ₹ 9.5 crore while “Rustom” has earned ₹ 15.75 crore on Saturday. On day 3 Sunday flick manage to collect only 11.02 crore. Also the film has shown less occupancy in theaters than “Rustom”. Also “Rustom” has received better reviews than “Mohenjo Daro”.
Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar both are super stars of Bollywood industry, both have given many super hits to industry. But this time Akshay has won the race and leading with huge gap. Whenever two big films got released on same day it always effect business of both the films, same thing has happened now with ” Rustom” and “Mohenjo Daro”.
