“Black Coffee” the Bengali drama film has released. The film is receiving mixed response from its viewers and also received less than average rating from critics. Also the film is not showing good occupancy in theatres. On first day it has opened with more than 50% occupancy but later it decreases to below 50%. Currently it is showing around 45% occupancy in theatres which is too less. It seems views are not liking it so much and their mixed response and mouth of word are decreasing its occupancy too. It seems people are not liking its script and do not finding it entertaining. The critics have also said many things must be improved in the film to make it more entertaining. The one of the reason could be the film is very depressing, the trailer of the film clearly shows that and today’s generation did not like this kind of films.
The film is directed by Atanu Bose and produced by Mrinal Kanti Chatterjee. It is presented by Fire Bird Entertainment. The music of the film is composed by Anupam Roy. It stars Saswata Chatterjee and Paoli Dam in leading male and female roles. Badshah Moitra and Koel Dhar are playing supporting roles in the film.
All the actors have played their roles so well. All of them have done an amazing job. Also the music of the film is very good and touching. The music director Anupam Roy has done a good job and given good music to the film. The film is not receiving good response but it has some good things too.
The story of the film revolves around Saswata Chatterjee and Paoli Dam. It shows their life journey, love, emotions, drama every thing. The story of the film is quite serious, it does not has any funny and action sequences. It shows Paoli and Saswata are not happy, they have some problems, even Paoli try to take pills. What happened between them, what problems they are facing, why Paoli does not want to live, is their problems that big that they can’t take it any more, all this forms the crux of the film.
